9.2.00 - Marybeth finished the SCCBC Invitational Sedan Race, a popular support event to the Molson Indy Vancouver, in her starting position of 5th out of 50 cars in the event, salvaging a solid finish after her clutch let go in the TIM-BR Mart Monte Carlo. "There was about 10 minutes left in the race, when I put my foot on the clutch to shift going into Turn 7 and the pedal went straight to the floor with no pressure whatsoever. I tried putting it into every gear to no avail but I knew I had to get it in some gear or my day was done and I didn't want to give up. So with all my strength, I shoved it into third and that’s where it stayed for the remaining 5 laps,” said Marybeth after the race. "I had hoped for a podium finish but we’ll just have to work on next year!"

Marybeth’s next race is back in her 650 horsepower Trans-Am Camaro at Laguna Seca October 15th/16th.
