Lohr makes switch to Super N

Ellen Lohr is to move to the German Super Touring Car Challenge series for Super N class cars. She is will be driving a Honda Integra.

Ugeux to Alfa

Sebastien Ugeux has landed a deal to race a Alfa 156 in the Belgian Procar series. Frederic Moreau is to be his team mate.

Chrysler pulls plug on Stratus

Chrysler have stopped all development on the NASTCC winning Chrysler Stratus. The plan to run the car in Europe has now been scrapped.

SMS won't run Quattros

SMS will not be running Audi A4 quattro's in the STW. Some ex- Zakspeed personnel are now expected to land the deal.

Cecotto yet to confirm

BMW and Johnny Cecotto are yet to confirm that they will or won't be entrants in this years German STW. They are refusing at the moment due to the 25kg penalty the BMW 320i has to carry.

STW has TV deal and cars

The German STW now expects to have 17 cars in the series. The organisers have also got television coverage with DSF. Most of Europe should be able to view the series via the Astra satelite system.
