Beechdean Motorsport set for GT graduation

Beechdean Motorsport have confirmed their intention in sportscar racing by purchasing a Ferrari 360 GT3 car from Damax Motorsport. The team, multiple winners in Britcar this season with there unique BMW M3 powered Mini, will race the car for the first time at the Brands Hatch GT open meeting on November 19. The car will be driven by Rod Carman and Aaron Scott.

Team boss Andrew Howard said, " It is my aim to be on the grid at Le Mans in 2008 and running a front line GT3 car is the next step for the team. We believe the Ferrari will be competitive in whatever Championship we choose for 2006. We are in discussions with some very high profile sponsors for next season and I am very excited about our future. "

It is not yet clear which Championship the team will enter next season. The driver line up is not expected to be announced until January although Aaron Scott is expected to be retained by the team for its 2006 campaign.
