BATHURST 24-HOUR UPDATE: 22.5-HOUR REPORT

Porsche's challenge for the inaugural Bathurst 24-Hour has ended with the last representative of the German marque crashing at 1.50 pm.

Allan Grice hit the wall and spun on the Mountain after going wide around the outside of Dilantha Malagamuwa's Mosler.

The Cirtek Porsche was returned to the pits on a truck and mechanics were attempting to repair the smashed right-rear suspension.

The Australian Holden Monaro continues untroubled in first place.

The Mosler is running second after a cautious, consistent run for the 22 hours.

The race will finish at 4 pm.
