Update at 9 AM Sunday

Germany's experienced Alzen brothers have climbed into third place in their Class B Porsche GT3 Supercup after 19 hours in the Bathurst 24-Hour race.

The brothers, with Michael Bartels and Arno Klasen, have covered 403 laps and taken the position in the past hour from the 54# Australian Porsche.

The Monaro pair are leading the race but clearly not racing each other. When asked whether the team would make a decision about how the final stages would unfold at Garry Rogers Motorsport, 05# driver Greg Murphy said, "don't ask. I wouldn't want to be the one to have to make that call. Anyway, there's still a long way to go."

Murphy admitted the Holdens were doing it easily and said a CD player in the car would have helped pass the night hours.
