Strong Porsche debut for Aaron Scott.

Weybridge racing driver Aaron Scott and his team mate Paul Hogan enjoyed a strong showing in Saturdays Bill Taylor Memorial race at Silverstone, bringing their Porsche 996 Carrera home in 10th place despite being stuck in 3rd gear for the entire race!

For Aaron, the first time he was to drive the car was in qualifying, in wet weather conditions they qualified the car in 11th place out of the 27 entries. The afternoon race was held in drier conditions and the duo bought the car home in 10th place.

Aaron said, " I really enjoyed driving the Porsche, if we hadn't had the gearbox gremlins we would have been even stronger. I didn't have any trouble getting to grips with the car and I hope this may lead to further opportunities in 2003. I'd like to thank Paul Hogan and Neil Cunningham for showing their faith in me by putting me in the car."

Aaron's attentions are now fixed on finding a seat for the 2003 season.
