Futureracers, Australia's newest entry-level motorsport category, have finalised their race calendar for the 2004 season. The 2004 Formula Green Futureracers Series, as it will be known, will support the six PROCAR Champ Series stand-alone events and the Bathurst 24 Hour.
Three events in New South Wales, two in Victoria and one in Tasmania will make up the inaugural Formula Green Futureracers Series.
In addition to these six events, Futureracers will be a support event to the third Bathurst 24 Hour over the weekend of November 19-21, 2004. The race format for the Bathurst event and whether it will be a part of the Series has yet to be confirmed.
Futureracers will take full advantage of PROCAR Australia's promotional arrangements, including television coverage of each race through PROCAR's arrangements with AVE Pty Ltd.
