Campos and Magalhães want 10 podiums for the season
The last rally of the Portuguese Rally Championship season, the Rali Rota do Dão, represents the final goal for the Peugeot Total Silver Team SG and their pair, Miguel Campos and Carlos Magalhães, wish to finish the season with podium positions in all the events.
Scheduled for the forthcoming 23rd of November in the northern region of Viseu, this event could very well mark Miguel Campos 52nd rally without withdrawals as well as his 9th win at the wheel of the very reliable and competitive Peugeot 206 WRC and the blue & silver team's 30th win. Strong statistics that reveal French manufacture's evident superiority in the Portuguese rally panorama.
"After the result we got in during this season, winning is the only possible goal. Furthermore we can rely on the Peugeot 206 WRC which leaves us quite confident in the attainment of this particular goal", remarks Campos, anxious to finally take his Portuguese Rally Championship title.
Although important, this is not Miguel Campos sole objective, "Winning will be the best way to end the season, but I would also like to enter my 6th year in a row without withdrawals. All in all, this will be an opportunity to beat the various records I have established throughout my career and in particular, during this season", continues Miguel Campos who counts of the total support of the Peugeot Total Silver Team SG members.
Team manager Carlos Barros goes on to say: "The car is at its best level. Miguel has presented excellent results since his initiation at Peugeot. One can recall that since Madeira, Miguel has finished all events on the podium," concluded the Peugeot Total Silver Team SG team manager
