Rammi Schochatovitz, the Israeli leading rally driver, that lead the Cyprus Rally Championship this year after 2 great results there, winning the - "East Safari" Rally and 2nd in the "Venus" Rally, is in his final preparations for the WRC round in Cyprus.

Schochatovitz is the only Israeli priority B FIA rally license holder and will drive a Mitsubishi Lancer EVO-5 in the rally. This is the 3rd time Rammi is rally driver in a WRC round, after Acropolis and Cyprus before.

He will compete in group-N against drivers like - Manfred Sthol, Gustavo Treles, Gabriel Pozo and Stig Blomqvist. Also there will be a strong local line up of drivers headed by Cyprus group-N champion Andreas Paraticous. Rammi is starting no-49 in the rally that will start in Limasol, 31\5 and finished there in 3\6.

This rally has 22 gravel special stage. The Cyprus WRC is the biggest motor-sport event in the Middle-east. A special crew of "rally-net" is going to Cyprus to follow the rally and to be with Rammi Schochatovitz there.

Also in this rally will be the Middle-East Rally Championship top contender, Andreas Tseloftas in a EVO-6 Mitsubishi Lancer, and Mishel Salah, the Lebanon driver, for the last time in his Toyota Celica turbo before it will be replaced to a Toyota Corola WRC.
