Mistral Racing heads for the 26th Elpa Rally Halkidikis, Greece- the 9th round of the European Rally Championship. Team driver, Roger Feghali will be driving the teams Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 6, Gr N, and will be co-driven by Bruno Brissart.

The Elpa Rally is regarded as the second most important rally of Greece and one of the most important rallies of the European championships as it has the top coefficient (20), and is the only one that is held on gravel roads.

For Feghali this is another very important rally, since it will give him the opportunity to test his driving skills on gravel roads. Noting that this is Feghalis second rally on gravel. "I am very excited about this forthcoming rally, as it will be a new experience for me, I will try new roads, and will face new competitors." Said Feghali, "I dont have so much experience on gravel, but I prefer it to tarmac as it is more fun and challenging. This is a big opportunity for me. We are well prepared and are quite confident at the moment. I hope we can get a good result, but the most important thing is to learn and finish the rally".

The 14-stage, 715 kilometres rally, which starts on September 8, is based in Halkidikis and divided into two legs, with 275 kilometres of stages. Elpa Rally is regarded as the most difficult of the European championship rallies. This year chosen special stages are fast and relatively soft. 59 teams have entered the event, 53 from Greece and six from other countries.
