Helicopter tragedy claims a third victim from Irish rallying's first family Bertie Fisher, who was piloting the helicopter has died from injuries he sustained in a crash on Sunday which also claimed the livess of his son - up and coming Rally driver Mark Fisher and daughter Emma.

The family was returning from a trip to Ireland to celebrate his wife Glady's 50th birthday. Bertie suffered head and internal injuries and never recovered consciousness from the accident. He died at 11:15pm last night in Ulster's Erne Hospital.

His wife remains critically ill in a Belfast hospital, but his son Roy is listed as comfortable with fractures to his arms and legs.

Accident investigators (Monday) began a full investigation into the cause of the tragedy.
