Alton, Va  October 25, 2002  Turner Motorsport is at Virginia International Raceway this weekend for the VIR SpeedFest SPEED World Challenge Touring car season finale.

"We're here with the same refuse-to-lose attitude we've raced with all year," said team owner, Will Turner. "It's been a pretty amazing season," he continued. "The #92 Turner Motorsports / H&R Springs /Trenton Forging BMW 325i has been consistently in the hunt at every race. Had we been able to close the deal in Trois Rivieres, Mosport (2) and Road Atlanta, I have to think we'd be ordering champagne right now. Regardless, we're still proud of everyone on the team and the job they've done.. we're still here to win."

With 34 points available in this weekend's event, Turner can improve his year-end position and finish as high as third in points.

Bobby Sak will be in the #93 Turner Motorsport / H&R Springs BMW 325i, looking to continue the success he had at Road Atlanta.

"I had a great car in Atlanta," said Bobby. "Once again, though, I had to deal with lapped traffic and really used up the car. I felt it [the power] start falling off late in the race. Unfortunately, traffic has become a tough part of this series. We're fast here, though-- I think we'll have a good weekend.

Frank Selldorff is back this week to pilot the #94 Turner Motorsport / H&R Springs BMW 325i.

"I had fun on the Road Atlanta track--." commented Selldorff. "But, it certainly was a learning experience. I can't say I'm in a big hurry to get back though. This track is a real eye opener too. Fast and narrow is an understatement. There are a few hills were you just need to hold your foot down and keep the faith."

Turner Motorsport welcomes Bilstein Shocks as a new team sponsor. BilsteinShocks.com offers wholesale direct prices and provides secure online ordering [24/7] of Bilstein shock absorbers for all makes and models of cars and trucks. Bilsteins are a "must have" for all tow vehicles and SUV's- providing a safer and more controlled ride.

Turner Motorsport and the SPEED World Challenge Touring Car Championship are in Virginia at the historic Virginia International Raceway. The event runs October 25 27 and will air on SPEED Channel, Saturday, November 9th.

The SPEED World Challenge Touring Car Championship provides competition between various makes of cars on the same track at the same time.
