RealTime Acura Tests at Miller Motorsports Park
Preparations Underway for Speed World Challenge
Tooele County, Utah (June 28, 2006) -- Fresh off a one-two finish at Infineon Raceway, RealTime Acura now has its sites set on Miller Motorsports Park and the SCCA Speed World Challenge presented by Citadel Broadcasting, July 13-15. All five drivers from RealTime Acura recently tested the track at Miller Motorsports Park and couldn't be happier with the results.
"For us it was an unbelievable test," said team manager Nathan Bonneau. "With the track being 4.5 miles you just can't go out there and instantly learn it. It was a huge advantage for us in our series to be able to go out there. Anybody who's going to try and come here on race weekend and figure it all out is going to be a little bit behind."
It's another start to a stellar year for RealTime Acura as all five drivers find themselves in the top ten in the Touring Series points standing. With his win at Infineon, Pierre Kleinubing is in sole possession of first place followed closely by last year's Touring Champion, and four-time World Challenge Driver Champion, Peter Cunningham. All are anxious to get back to Miller Motorsports Park.
"They love it here," said Bonneau. "Everytime they went out they came back in with bigger smiles on their faces talking about where they could find even more speed. This is an unbelievable facility."
In addition to the SCCA Speed World Challenge presented by Citadel Broadcasting, July 13-15 also marks the debut of the Larry H. Miller Dealership's Utah Grand Prix featuring the American Le Mans Series.
Miller Motorsports Park is already considered by many to be the premier road racing facility in the United States. The design philosophy of Miller Motorsports Park has led to the creation of a national standard for roadracing and karting which is equal or superior to any existing North American facility. Miller Motorsports Park also features exceptional corporate hospitality facilities designed to attract sponsors and corporate involvement in a wide range of activities, both on and off the track. Miller Motorsports Park is easily accessed by major highway (I-80), and surrounding county roads.
