Bill Auberlen returns to Turner Motorsport for a full 2003 season Auberlen last raced with the team in 2001, when he scored one win at Lime Rock, setting a series record for most positions improved by a winner, passing 43 cars en route to victory Auberlen has achieved tremendous success in BMWs, garnering the 1997 PSCR GT Championship, numerous Daytona and Sebring victories, success at Le Mans in a BMW V12 LMR, and further success with a win at the 2001 Petit Le Mans in a M3 GTR Auberlen won the 2002 Grand-Am GT Championship, and will also drive one of the factory BMW M3s in SCCA Speed GT
Turner Motorsport's four new 2003 BMW 325i sedans are built in-house by full time race technicians using the latest technology from BMW, H&R Springs, Toyo Tires, Pagid and BBS Turner Motorsport uses its 10 years of experience to turn out exceptionally prepared and seriously fast race equipment The team has been busy this off-season with testing and developing the suspension on the new cars.
"Our engine program is the same as last year's, which was pretty good Over the winter, we have been concentrating on improving the suspension of the cars," said Turner. "We have done a lot of testing, and have made some very significant progress I can't wait for Sebring"
