Petaluma, CA. - TRG-AMR North America is proud to announce the addition of professional sportscar racer Max Riddle to the team’s Pirelli World Challenge roster, making Max the second full-season driver to be announced for the California-based squad’s multi-car 2015 series effort.

Having only entered World Challenge competition in 2013, the team fielded three full-time GTS entries in 2014, as well as a limited GT program, having secured a number of podiums, fast laps, and wins along the way.

I am really excited to be paired with TRG-AMR for the second year in a row.

Traditionally known as an endurance-racing team, TRG-AMR has adapted to the sprint-race format of World Challenge, helping shape the GT4 into a formidable contender.

Having just completed a full-season effort in the IMSA Continental Tire Sportscar Challenge alongside veteran co-driver and mentor Kris Wilson, Max and the team are ready to take on the fierce competition of the Pirelli World Challenge paddock with the formidable V8 Vantage GT4. The GT4 gets minor modifications when moving over from IMSA CTSC trim, including an upgraded aero package, bigger brakes, and wider tires.

Along with the upgrades to the car, the World Challenge media package receives a boost this year, moving to CBS Sports with select events being aired live for the first time in the history of the series.

Max Riddle, TRG-AMR Team Driver: “I am really excited to be paired with TRG-AMR for the second year in a row. Last year in Conti was great with two wins and multiple podiums, but most the most important thing is that we learned A LOT. We learned some incredibly important things about the V8 Vantage GT4 and have worked internally with AMR to make this one of the strongest cars in the field - both in Conti and World Challenge. I am really looking forward to the sprint race format and seeing what I can do in Pirelli World Challenge!”

Kevin Buckler, CEO, TRG-AMR North America: “I can’t say enough about how excited I am to have Max running in Pirelli World Challenge with us. He is a talented young professional driver with a bright future and a cool head on his shoulders. The series is exploding in popularity and we are so proud to be a part of it. Max really showed us his true potential late in the season by running the car up front with some of the best professional drivers in the series.

His experience in Rally has taught him a thing or two about car control and he would consistently top the time charts in the rain. He’s taken the time to learn the nuances of being a successful sportscar racer and is now ready to apply that knowledge against the GTS field in World Challenge. 2015 is shaping up to be a great year for us and we are proud to have Max helping to lead the charge. I know we are all working collectively to win this championship together!”
