Sixteen GT, GTS races set for the World Challenge 25th anniversary
Complete 2014 Pirelli World Challenge schedule announced at the SEMA show in Las Vegas. TC, TCB classes will contest 14 races.

Las Vegas, NV – WC Vision announced the complete 2014 Pirelli World Challenge schedule at its annual State of the Series Meeting held at the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show. GT/GTS classes will compete across nine event weekends with a total of 16 races, while TC/TCB classes will compete across seven event weekends and a total of 14 races. The 2014 season marks the 25th anniversary for the series.
As previously announced, the GT/GTS classes will begin their 2014 season on the Streets of St. Petersburg (March 28-30), part of the Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, with stops at Long Beach (Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach), Detroit (Grand Prix of Detroit), Road America (with NASCAR Nationwide Series), Toronto (Honda Indy Toronto) and Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course (Honda Indy 200). Newly announced dates include Barber Motorsports Park in April (with IndyCar), Sonoma Raceway in August (with IndyCar) and the season finale in September at Miller Motorsports Park.
TC/TCB classes begin their 2014 season at Barber, April 25-27, with stops thereafter at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (May), New Jersey Motorsports Park (late May), Road America (June), Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course (August), Brainerd International Raceway (late August), with the season finale at Miller Motorsports Park (September).

We are really looking forward to going to some different venues in 2014 such as Road America, it's a tremendous track and we look forward to some great racing there. As well, I'm really anticipating next year because of the 25th anniversary of the series and some exciting plans that Pirelli is planning to roll out to honor the anniversary."
"It's always great to start the season at St. Petersburg, it's an awesome venue and the fans there are always so enthusiastic," said John Kraemer, Cadillac V-Series Racing Marketing Manager. "And to get an opportunity to go to Barber Motorsports Park and Road America to showcase the series and Cadillac will be great. We are looking forward to the 2014 season and to defending our championship against some tough competition."
