Henzler 4th in Speed World Challenge

Danbury, CT-March 20, 2005 -- Wolf Henzler, the reigning Porsche Supercup Champion, finished a strong fourth in the opening round of the SCCA Speed World Challenge in Sebring, FL. Driving for Farnbacher Loles Racing, with primary sponsorship by Applied Materials, the world's largest supplier of products and services to the global semiconductor industry, Henzler qualified on the pole for the 50 minute sprint race. Henzler had a strong start, and held second place for most of the race, but a fuel supply problem forced him to fourth at the end.

Driver Henzler, who won 11 of 12 events in the Porsche Michelin Super Cup series enroute to the Driver's Championship in 2004, came to America for two Speed World Challenge events last year. He won at both Infineon Raceway and Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, racetracks that are very similar to what Henzler is used to in Europe. After those successes, the decision was made to run the full season in 2005. The team started the year with a dramatic win in the 2005 Rolex 24 at Daytona, starting from the pole and leading the most laps in the GT class.
