Best/Worst Hawaiian Shirt Wins Passes To Laguna Seca Race

Hitchcock, TX - Grand Sport Racing invites all Corvette fans to break out their best/worst Hawaiian shirt for the Sears Point Speedvision World Challenge event, July 22. The fan judged to have the best or worst shirt will win two passes to the SVWC event at Laguna Seca, Sept 7-9 and will also get to ride in one of the Grand Sports Racing Corvettes on the parade lap prior to the race.

"The best shirt is often the worst Hawaiian print," says team manager Terry Lackey. "We are very fond of the style. There are some really great ones out there too. We believe that the same bold spirit it takes to own and drive a Corvette is the same bold spirit it takes to wear a killer Hawaiian shirt with confidence."

Corvette fans will have a chance to come by the Grand Sport Racing paddock and register their entry at any time during the event. Entries will also be taken at the Corvette Corral Chalet during the C5-R autograph sesion on Sunday at 10:00 AM. Photos will be taken of each entrant. Final judging and the winner will be announced at the start of the SVWC GT event.

Grand Sport Racing will be fielding two cars at Sears Point. Bobby Sak and Mark Dixon will campaign the #04 and #08 cars respectively. Bobby Sak will be carry the image of a missing child from the Bay Area as part of his campaign to assist the Center For Missing And Exploited Children.
