TMS Drivers On Top Heading To Round 7

Mosport, Ontario, Canada - 08/03/2004 - After seven rounds of the SPEED Touring Car Championship, Turner Motorsport has three drivers in the top ten, and leads the overall Championship standings with Bill Auberlen. Dino Crescentini leads the Rookie of the Year points race from his eighth-place position. And Justin Marks is having one of his best seasons in professional motorsports; he is in fifth place in the overall Championship. BMW also leads the Manufacturer's Championship.

Bill Auberlen, car #1 Turner Motorsport/H&R Springs/BMW of Watertown BMW 325i:

"The Turner Motorsport team has always been well-prepared for Mosport. It will be difficult to maintain momentum here with all of the weight we're carrying. But Will Turner has been on pole here and finished on the podium. And last year I finished second. We're definitely going to give the other guys and girls a hard time this weekend."

Justin Marks, car #2 Turner Motorsport/H&R Springs/BMW of Watertown BMW 325i:

"We have a very busy schedule with the SPEED Touring Car race here at Mosport and the Grand Am GT race at Mid Ohio. The Turner crew will be rockin' and rollin' all weekend and Mosport has been a great track for the team in the past."

Dino Crescentini, car #3 Turner Motorsport/H&R Springs/BMW of Watertown BMW 325i:

"The team has a good package put together for this track and the Centric Parts BMW should do very well. I've placed in the top ten in each of the last three races which has boosted me in the overall Championship and the Rookie of the Year points. But really what I'm looking for is a podium or maybe even a win this weekend."

The Mosport round of the Speed Touring Car Championship will be held this weekend at Mosport International Raceway in Bowmanville, Ontario, Canada. Practice will be on Friday. Qualifying takes place on Saturday at 11:30am. The 50-minute race gets underway Sunday morning at 9:55am. All sessions can be watched live on http://www.world-challenge.com/2004/events/mos/index.html. The SPEED Channel will be showing this race on Sunday, August 15, 2004 at 12:00pm ET.
