SCCA Speed World Challenge to have live web timing.

TOPEKA, Kan. (February 28, 2003) -- SCCA Pro Racing announced today that it has retained VFX Digital Solutions to host its live web timing for the SCCA Speed World Challenge GT and Touring Car Championships for the 2003 season.

Every official timed session, for all 10 events, will be available online through www.world-challenge.com. The live timing feed will be constantly updated throughout each session and contain all pertinent information regarding the session, including fast laps, intervals, laps complete and all driver and car information.

"One item our fans have been asking for is live timing through world-challenge.com, and we're happy to deliver that for 2003," said Mitch Wright, Vice President and General Manager of SCCA Pro Racing. "While our sessions are relatively short, they are almost always intense, whether you're watching it at the track, on television or online."

Vancouver-based VFX developed the system for the Champ Car World Series, and it has also been utilized by the Grand-American Road Racing Association.

The SCCA Speed World Challenge Championships begin their 2003 seasons March 14 as part of the Mobil 1 12 Hours of Sebring weekend. For more information, please visit www.world-challenge.com.
