TC Kline Racing returns to World Challenge with Esayian named as Driver.
January 14, 2004 (Columbus, Ohio) --- TC Kline Racing will return to the World Challenge Series in 2004 with veteran club racer Nick Esayian driving a BMW 325Ci, and the support of primary sponsor Total Trolley.
Kline has a long history of success winning National Championships in autocross, club racing, IMSA and the SCCA. Last year's efforts were focused on winning the Grand Am Cup Team Championship where the team competed with BMW's newest sports car, the BMW Z4 Roadster. The company also operates a specialty tuner division through which BMW enthusiasts can obtain the same custom-designed TC Kline parts that are used in the team's race cars.
Esayian states of his partnership with Kline, "TC and I have worked together on several projects in the past with great success in the club racing world. It is time to take it to the next level. It is a real treat to have the opportunity to partner with a proven winner." Kline agrees, "Nick and I work well together and have enjoyed many podiums in club racing. I'm looking forward to returning to World Challenge with him in the driver's seat."
Esayian has been a successful frontrunner in various classes in SCCA National competition, NASA, and Neon Challenge Series. He ran two Speed Touring Car races in an Acura Integra Type R in 2002 and holds an SCCA Central Division Regional Championship.
"We approached Sylmark (Total Trolley is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sylmark, Inc.) and they agreed that the World Challenge format offered a good bang for the buck in terms of exposing the Total Trolley which is being sold on television. It is a fantastic product that we are proud to promote," states Esayian.
The SPEED World Challenge season will make its first standing start of 2004 at Sebring International Raceway for the fourth-consecutive year as part of the 52nd Mobil1 Twelve Hours of Sebring week March 17-20.
