Kelly Moss Motorsports is looking for funded drivers to compete for a championship as they announce a three-car effort in a full season of the GT Cup Championship in the Pirelli World Challenge in 2015.

2014 Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge USA by Yokohama Platinum Cup champion Colin Thompson will lead the Kelly Moss effort in PWC in 2015 in a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car. Thompson will make his PWC debut in his second season with the team.

"We were looking to continue our relationship and development of Colin," Stone said. "This was the next logical step for him in the U.S. before the Carrera Cup."

The championship-caliber team seeks to fill the remaining two seats in its Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars with funded drivers.

"We want like-minded people that are looking to compete for championships, whether that's young drivers that want to develop their craft or gentleman drivers looking for a top-quality experience," Stone said. "We are looking to make it cost effective for everyone."

The team also will continue to keep a primary focus in the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge USA by Yokohama series.

"GT3 will be a primary series for us," Kelly Moss Vice President Jeff Stone said. "But Pirelli World Challenge offers a unique opportunity for us. We have the capacity and staff to make it work and make it so that we are competing for championships in both series."

Kelly Moss has run some of the most advanced vehicles for the most prominent drivers in the world and will continue the trend in PWC in 2015. The team knows its cars down to the smallest detail, adding up to a significant advantage.

"There are some differences from GT3 Cup like the standing starts, which I'm a big proponent of, and the street courses, but that wont change our take or how we approach the setup of the car," Stone said. "We expect to compete; those things just make it a little more interesting."

GT3 Cup champions

As the reigning Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge USA by Yokohama Platinum Cup team champions, Kelly Moss will take its extensive knowledge of the Porsche 911 to some familiar tracks on the PWC schedule, such as Road America, Circuit of the Americas and Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.

"We've ran on every single one of these tracks and love all of them," Stone said. "I feel like we are uniquely positioned to compete from the start."

Kelly Moss uses advanced alignment equipment with extreme tolerances to best set up the cars. As a multi-car operation, the team uses multiple sources of data to analyze car and driver achievement, ensuring championship level performance.

Industry-leading practices are the standard set by Kelly Moss. With one of the most advanced prep shops in North America, Kelly Moss provides impeccable quality control of its services and has the means to constantly push the technical envelope on its clients' cars, allowing it to compete for championships from day one.

The team boasts a staff of qualified Porsche-trained technicians in both engineering and chassis repair, who always keep up-to-date with the latest techniques. In fact Kelly Moss has nine factory-trained technicians on staff, the most of any team in North America, including Vice President and Team Manager Jeff Stone.

Trackside, Kelly Moss will continue to bring in top-notch mechanics and engineers from all over the world.

The PWC season will start Friday, March 6 at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas. Funded drivers interested in filling the remaining two seats can contact Jeff Stone at kmracing@gmail.com or (608) 347-7438.
