Remus SportExhaust Continues SPEED GT "Power Move" Award For 2004

TOPEKA, Kan. (March 17, 2004) -- Remus Innovation, one of the world's leading manufacturers of sport exhaust systems, announced today the continuation of its Power Move of the Race Award for the 2004 SCCA Pro Racing SPEED World Challenge GT Championship.

Remus USA will award a $500 cash award and trophy to the driver who performed the move that SPEED Channel commentators and production staff determine was the highlight of that event.

"The SCCA SPEED GT Championship is all about the highest level of performance out of a production automobile," Remus USA Vice President of Marketing Bob Ritzman said. "Like the SPEED GT series, Remus SportExhaust is about the highest level of performance, and, therefore, a perfect fit for the Remus Power Move of the Race."

"We are excited to continue our relationships with Remus SportExhaust, which has a world wide presence in motorsports," SCCA Pro Racing Vice President and General Manager Mitch Wright said.

Remus Sport Exhaust products, distributed exclusively in the United States by Chatsworth, California's Remus USA, is positioned as one of the largest and best sport exhaust manufacturers in the world. Remus sport exhaust products are available for most European, Japanese, and many North American performance vehicle applications from Audi and BMW to Ferrari, Honda, Lexus, Chevrolet Corvette, and Dodge Viper.

As part of the agreement that began in 2003, the Remus logo will be displayed on the number boards of each competitor in the SCCA Speed GT Championship. The SCCA Pro Racing SPEED World Challenge Championships are North America's top production-based road racing series. Split into two, separate classes and 50-minute races (GT and Touring Car), the series is geared toward creating an exciting product for racing fans, both at the track and watching television, that is also easy to relate with and understand.
