Remington to Sponsor SPEED GT Races at Mid-Ohio and Road America

TOPEKA, Kan. (June 30, 2008) --Already a familiar name in SPCCA Pro Racing SPEED World Challenge through its sponsorship of the Cadillac SPEED GT team, Remington Shaving & Grooming will continue to expand its involvement in the series by sponsoring the SCCA SPEED GT races at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, July 17 -- 20, and Road America, August 8 -- 10, just down the road from the company headquarters.

Based in Madison, Wis., Remington Shaving & Grooming manufactures high-precision hair care, shaving and personal grooming products.

"We are thrilled to have the Remington name associated with the SCCA SPEED GT races at Mid-Ohio and Road America," Remington VP, Global Branding and NA Marketing, Jim Heidenreich said. "Our products are all about giving consumers a shave as close as a World Challenge race, so I think race fans will appreciate our presence at the track. Hopefully we'll get them all rooting for a Team Remington Cadillac one-two finish!"

Both weekends will feature Remington product samples and demonstrations. Mid-Ohio and Road America are set to have the cleanest shaven fans of the season.
