FIRST UNION 6 HOURS OF THE GLEN PRE-RACE QUOTES
DAVID BRABHAM (#66 Ford Panoz) -- It seems fitting that on its first trip to the Glen, the Panoz should have at least one driver who shares that distinction. David Brabham continues a strong family tradition this weekend as he joins Andy Wallace and Doc Bundy for the First Union Six Hours of the Glen. Brabham has driven the car in Europe, but finds it well suited to this long, fast course. "I think this car suits faster circuits. It's got a very good aerodynamic stability, good downforce, so you get a good feel for the car in the fast corners. You can brake really late." He "took to the course immediately", and is pleased to finally join his family as one who has raced the Glen. "I think there's something a little special about this course because my Dad raced here back when Formula One came here, and my brother has raced here as well, and it's something I've always wanted to do. To be racing here is special, so I'm pleased to be here."
