Series announces new rules at season finale

As usual the #14 Rockford Fosgate car driven by Adrian 'Ace' Carrio has been quick during testing. On Thursday Ace turned a 1:21.691 which was the second fastest time of the day. In this morning's testing Ace and the World Speed Motorsports team were in the top five.

The series announced on Wednesday some very harsh penalties for anyone leaving the track surface during the weekend. Most teams are being cautious as the weight of the penalties could seriously affect their year end standings, and at the very least could hurt their race results this weekend.

"As usual we will be shooting for pole position, and the win." stated Team Owner Telo Stewart. "We don't have to win the race to win the championship, but it would be the best way to end a very exciting season."

There is one final practice session this afternoon. Qualifying is Saturday at 8:00am.
