Norwegian success for Krohn
April 2nd, 2009 Angleton, TX -- Anders Krohn just returned back to the U.S. after spending six days in his native Norway working with sponsors and associates. Anders held a speech at Antenor's annual conference shortly after arriving in Norway. Antenor joined Anders' racing campaign as a sponsor for the 2009 season, with the main goal of improving their brand recognition in the media.
"Being home again was great, and I greatly appreciated the opportunity to address Antenor and their partners. The rest of my stay was filled with various exciting events, and it was just the right kick start to the rest of the Star Mazda Championship presented by Goodyear season. Team Mundill has been hard at work figuring out the mechanical difficulties we experienced at the season opener in March, and we look forward to the upcoming tests before the next race." Said Anders
In other news, Anders has recently been ranked as the third best junior open-wheel driver in North America by leading motorsports site eformulacarnews.com. The only two drivers to beat the Norwegian at the top of the charts are Indy Lights Champion and Vice-Champion Raphael Matos and Richard Antinucci. The list includes 268 drivers competing in Indy Lights, Formula Atlantic, Star Mazda, Formula 2000, Formula BMW and Skip Barber.
Anders is currently in preparations for the next race which will be held at Virginia International Raceway on April 25th.
