GEDDIE HOPING TO END SEASON ON A HIGH
Glynn Geddie will be looking to end his Porsche Carrera Cup GB season on a high as the championship makes its' final stop on the 2010 racing calendar at Brands Hatch this weekend.
The 20 year-old from Aberdeen, who is one of only a handful of drivers to have scored points in every race so far this season, made a strong display at Donington Park last time out, finishing the races in 4th and 5th places, and gaining 26 points to add to his championship total.
Restlessly lying fourth in the drivers' standings, just 3 points off Team Parker Racing team mate Stephen Jelley, the Apex Tubulars-backed Geddie will have his eyes firmly set on that all important third spot at this weekend's finale.
The championship makes its' second trip to the Kent circuit this season, this time on the shorter Indy track for Rounds 19 and 20 this weekend, and is set to provide some close and action-packed racing as the season comes to a close.
"Brands has usually been very good to me and we were strong with 4th in both races on the GP circuit at the start of the season, so I'll naturally be going all-out to get as many points as possible - hopefully we can go at least one better and get on the podium.
"Although it's been tough this season and we haven't always been where we would have like to have been, the car and our pace has been gradually improving race on race. This is our last shot to score some points for the championship and we're all motivated to make it count and come away with third in the standings."
