Porsche Asia Pacific Pte Ltd today announced two prestigious Singaporean partners for the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia 2008 season: Leading luxury residential property developer, SC Global Developments Limited; and DBS, one of the largest financial services groups in Asia.

SC Global will be title sponsor of Round 9 of the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia at the 2008 FORMULA 10x2122 SingTel Singapore Grand Prix in September. The name of the race was officially announced today as the 'Porsche SC Global Carrera Cup Asia -- Singapore 2008'. In addition, SC Global will be the series' Official Real Estate Partner for the entire 2008 season, which gets underway at the 2008 FORMULA 1 Petronas Malaysian Grand Prix next week.

Announcing the new partnerships, Mr. Christer Ekberg, Managing Director of Porsche Asia Pacific Pte Ltd said: "To see racing in Singapore is a dream come true for Porsche and the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia. We are delighted to have such strong local support and the backing of prestigious Singaporean partners. SC Global Developments, the last word in luxury residential properties, and respected financial services organisation DBS, are a perfect match for the Porsche brand, particularly with our shared commitment to excellence in our respective fields."

SC Global's philosophy of delivering 'The Ultimate Living' has seen the realisation of Singapore's most breathtaking prime residential properties, including The Ladyhill, The Boulevard Residence, the Lincoln Modern, and Thr3e Thre3 Robin. Last year, under its 'Own The Original' campaign, the group debuted its new luxury collection, offering unprecedented levels of space and luxury with the Marq on Paterson Hill and Hilltops.

Said SC Global Development's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Simon Cheong: "The eyes of motorsport fans around the world will be focused on Singapore as it stages its first Formula One Grand Prix, and SC Global is proud to contribute to what will be both an enormously successful event, and one which will put the spotlight firmly on our dynamic city.

Porsche is synonymous with well-built, highly-engineered sports cars which provide the ultimate performance on the road, just as the SC Global name goes hand-in-glove with exceptional and luxurious residential properties for homeowners who demand -- and receive -- nothing but the best."

Each of the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars lining up on the grid for the start of the historic September race will bear the name of SC Global. Continued Cheong: "By its very nature as a street track, the Marina Bay Circuit will showcase Singapore to the world and introduce our city as both a dynamic business centre and an idyllic home. This provides us with a duel opportunity of brand and product exposure through one of the most exciting sports in the world."

Headquartered in Singapore, DBS is the Official Financial Services Partner for the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia 2008 season. The largest bank in Singapore, and a leading bank in Hong Kong, DBS has operations in 15 markets throughout Asia. It holds a leading position in corporate, SME and consumer banking, treasury and markets, wealth management, securities brokerage and equity and debt fund raising.

SC Global has also strengthened its involvement with the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia with the formation of the new SC Global Racing team, with 2004 Champion Matthew Marsh at the wheel. The team is expected to mount a serious challenge for the Championship with Marsh, who as well as taking the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia title has also competed in some of the world's most prestigious race meetings including the Le Mans 24 Hours, Bathurst and the Daytona 24 Hours.

Supporting the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia are two of the most recognised names in international motorsport, Mobil1 and Michelin. Mobil and Porsche have been partners since 1996. Close co-operation in research and development has led to every new Porsche engine being filled with Mobil1 high-performance lubricant. Porsche Carrera Cup Asia drivers also have the advantage of racing on cutting-edge tyres supplied by series partner Michelin. The consistent performance and leading technology of Michelin tyres constantly improve the performance of many teams in international motorsport. The partnership between Michelin and the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia has emerged from a worldwide agreement signed between Porsche AG and the Michelin group.
