The son of Jody Scheckter, former F1 World Champion with Ferrari in 1979, has no rival in the Valencian track, wich reached temperatures high as 32º C. Scheckter lapped 1.26.962, improving his own record in two. The other surprise has been has been Franck Montagny , best rookie today, while yesterday was the italian Filippo Zadotti (Doors Racing Team). The Portuguese Manuel Giao (Scuderia Fama) fastest yesterday, has been lacked by some problems in his car and finally he has been fourth. The best Spaniard has been Ángel Burgueño (Repsol Meycom), who finished in third position. 21 drivers have tested at Valencia but in the oficial entry list there is a place for one more. The Spaniard Sergio Yborra (Skualo Competicion) willl be the second catalan driver in the championship alongside Jordi Nogues (Gtec) .
