Work on the Formula Dodge R/T 2000 is progressing smoothly as the accompanying pictures show. The shots came from the Reynard Motorsport factory in England recently, and give a very good indication of what the car will look like.

The car will run on specially developed and all-new Michelin Pilot CS slick tires, with the rear tire being both taller and wider than the those shown. Also different will be the design of the Progressive wheels.

The new body work is expected to arrive from the Reynard factory over the coming weeks at the Skip Barber Race Series factory in Lakeville, Conn., as are many of the other sub-contracted parts of the car, notably the Gemini 5-speed sequential gearbox.

There are presently over 20 complete chassis awaiting the additional parts in Lakeville while work continues to progress on the remaining 40 or so chassis.

The Formula Dodge R/T 2000 will make its competition debut at Virginia International Raceway on May 6-7, 2000.
