Jonathan Goring Wins Skip Barber National Title Championship not decided until final corner on last lap in last race

TOOELE, Utah (Oct.29) Over a tense three days and two final races, Jonathan Goring took the 2006 Skip Barber National Presented by RACER title and its $100,000 Career Enhancement Award over Marco Di Leo by a final margin of just two points. Di Leo, a three time race winner, won $20,000 while

Alexander Rossi, who also won three times, took home $15,000 for third overall in the championship.

Goring, 17, from Norfolk, Conn., who won his fourth race of the year in Saturday's race one, finished fifth in the extremely exciting second race on Sunday -- right behind Di Leo and just enough to win the title and the $100,000 bonus.
