Vergani Racing and Adrián Campos Motorsport, currently competimg in the International Single-Seater Series Internacional Open Telefónica (Formula Nissan), have purchased four units from the SUPER NISSAN V6 Series, a new Championship organizaed by the Spanish Company, RPM Racing, in 2002
Barcelona, 20 July 2001 Teams Vergani Racing and Adrian Campos Motorsport, currently participating in the Open Telefonica (Formula Nissan), where former winners were Marc Gené and Fernando Alonso (two reputed drivers in Formula One, are to join the new Nissan V6 Series in 2002.
Tomas Scheckter, leader of the Open Telefonica Series, is currently racing for Team Vergani, alongside the Spaniard Santiago Porteiro, and Milka Duno, from Venezuela, the single lady in the entry list.The Italians have bought two units of the new Single-Seater, wich chassis will be designed by Dr. Paolo Dallara.
Another two units will be released to the Three Times Champion of the Series, the Spanish Team based in Alzira (Valencia) Adrián Campos Motorsport. The Team¹s drivers in this Season are the Spaniard Rafael Sarandeses (4th in the Overall), Borja García the former champion of the 1300 Toyota Formula, and the Young Italian Mateo Bobbi.
The Italian Team GD Racing, also present this year in the Open Telefónica Series, was the first Team to buy the new units for the Nissan V6 Series organized by RPM Racing, the Spanish Company that also is taking care about the management of Marc Gené (BMW.WilliamsF1).
