The current leader, Tomas Sheckter (Vergani Racing), was only fourth in the first round, where the track was slightly humid due to some rain showers, but he lapped the second best time in the second session, where the circuit was absolutely wet after a strong rain.

The Epsilon by Graff Team Manager was happy for his top driver but Dellus and Galzain, the other two French drivers in the team, had very different performance from his mate Montagny. Dellus appearntly well place at the begining of the two session went down to the 15th and the 12th position of the grid. Gregoire, who will start on top ten position in the first race, had a little incident with the argentinian Filiberti (GD Racing), who did not respect the blue flag, and both were out of the track during the last lap of the second session. Filiberti's times were not considered while De Galzain will start in 9th position.
