Billy Asaro - #69 www.keymotorsport.com/POPS 2001 Van Diemen Ford (finished 1st) - "Oh it was awesome, all the way up to halfway through the race or three quarters. You know Mike was so fast, I think he had his car set up for the corners because on the straightaway I was killing him, but he drove an awesome race and it's too bad what happened to him, but that's racing and I'll take it. "
Tom Dryer - # 33 - Cycle shack Inc./Paladin Associates 2001 Wan Diemen Ford - (finished 2nd) - "It was a good second place finish I was trying to keep my noise clean, the car was changing through out the race and jus t tried to stay on top of it. There was a lot of commotion going on and it left me by myself and I just tried to put some laps together and catch up to Billy Asaro."
Paul Dana - #44 Forsythe/CAPCO Abrasives/Klein Tools/ Mate 2001 Van Diemen Ford (finished 3rd) - This is amazing. I'm a rookie this year and this is my first season. To finish on the podium in only the third weekend is phenomenal I can't thank Amoto sports team enough Ian Willis, Capco Races, Matt Forsythe, and Klein Tools to make this all happen. Hopefully this is a good sign
Billy Hagar - #4 Hagar Restaurant Service 1998 Van Diemen Ford (Class B Winner) - "It went real good, we started off late in the ACC and were able to maintain after the first corner crash. I had a DSPP car on my tail pretty much the whole race and I was able to hold on to it. The car was good; I was just about 20 or 30 pounds too heavy for the class so I got to lose some weight on the car and myself. I'm real happy about it. It's our second win and were holding the lead in the ACC Championship overall."
