Montreal, Quebec. (September 28, 2000) - Key Motorsport announced today plans for its fall/winter testing programs designed to fill seats for its 2001 Formula 2000 and Canadian Formula 1600 racing programs. The Canadian based racing team has been in the midst of a very intense racing season with the US Formula 2000 championship and rookie of the year battles.

Team owner Steve Djelebian announced that the team welcomes interested funded drivers interested in testing with their US Formula 2000 racing team or Canadian Formula Ford 1600 Championship racing teams. The team will be very active in the off season as its base operations will be moving to a purpose built facility in St. Eustache, Quebec.

"We are going to be very busy in the off-season with our move and intense testing schedule for next season. The new location at St. Eustache will be a fantastic opportunity to allow us to expand our racing programs. The new location is based at the St. Eustache Motorsport Complex, twenty minutes north of Montreal. The team will have its test track 20 meters from its shop that is going to be invaluable for driver and car development explained Djelebian. "We are very excited about this aspect."

The team has a tradition of fielding very strong US Formula 2000 campaigns with Marc Antoine Camirand, Peter Walsh, Daniel Muniz and Greg LeMonde are a few of the drivers who have brought the team great success over the past years. Djelebian is confident that US F2000 winning heritage will continue, and is focused on getting the Formula 1600 team back to the winner's rostrum.

"We have struggled with our driver lineup in Canadian Formula Ford in the past two seasons with driver budget problems or that they were simply not fast enough to match the leaders. We are determined to get our Formula Ford 1600 program back to our 1998 level of success that we had with Brendan Kerin and Jean Sebastian Bedard. We are getting many inquiries now about next year and that is encouraging. The team is very excited about its prospects for the future," added Djelebian.
