"Bobby Wilson readies for Infineon Raceway looking to come home victorious"

TORONTO, ON. (JULY 12, 2004) Multi-time national karting champion Bobby Wilson will look to steer his Green-Keeper, RW Racing, Citrus Systems, Cape Motorsports #3 Van Diemen Formula Ford to victory this coming weekend during the Cooper Tire Championship Series (CTCS) event at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, CA. As part of the American Le Mans Series weekend, Wilson will look to gain the point lead back that he lost at the last event.

The 22-year-old Dousman, WI resident has been consistent so far this year stringing together several top five finishes. After a pair of victories at Road Atlanta earlier in the year, Wilson has hit a dry spell and will look to turn it around this coming weekend.

In preparation for the event, Wilson recently completed three test days where he and the team tested car set-up and qualifying runs to help ensure Wilson started at the front of the field. "We had a good test," stated Wilson. "We tried a lot of new things and were quicker than earlier in the year. I will be looking to carry the momentum from a successful test into this weekend's event."

The 2003 Shifter Kart Illustrated Driver of the Year and CART Stars of Tomorrow ICC champion currently sits second in the overall series point standings. Wilson will look to turn his lightning quick speed into another victory and regain the point lead that he assumed earlier on in the year.
