SEBRING, FL -- (March 15, 2003) -- FF2000 driver Andy Brumbaugh and his Andy,LLC/Corby Concepts/FormulaCar Magazine Van Diemen started the race in fourth position but quickly lost ground due to bad weather conditions. Since the pending thunderstorm had not quite arrived, the entire field went out on slicks. Of course, that meant the rain started before the green flag was dropped. After three laps, the red flag finally put a halt to the mayhem, and due to the Pro Series rules was called a race. Brumbaugh finished a disappointing 19th, but will probably use this as one of his drops.

"Too bad the rain couldn't have held off longer or could have started earlier, but I now have a better understanding of hydroplaning! I did 3 complete 360's on the first lap but I was making up ground in the next two. We are looking forward to the next event at Lime Rock Memorial Day weekend."

The 19-year old driver from South Carolina will spend April working on his studies at college before an early May series test at Mid-Ohio.
