For Race One here at Road America, Andrew Brumbaugh started in third position under threatening skies. At the green, Brumbaugh got boxed in and was not able to break free at first. But when he did, he did it in a grand way. Brumbaugh passed both the leader, Charlie Kimball and Andy's teammate Wesley Barber, going into turn five - and made it stick. Then came the rain. Brumbaugh said that he could tell that the car was just on the edge of grip and then it let go. Several cars got past him, not only because of the spin but also because the car would not restart right away. Then, the course went yellow, due to the rain. When he came around to the starter again, he was in thirteenth.

Brumbaugh passed right and left and finished in sixth position. Barber went out with a broken fourth gear, and Ashenbach, also Andy's teammate, was involved in a first lap altercation in turn two that put him out. Ashenbach got restarted and made several laps before putting the car behind the wall.

Brumbaugh said that it was unfortunate that the yellow was not thrown sooner, but tomorrow is another day.

"We have received a lot of positive feedback about our website," said Andy. "We felt it was time to update the graphics. The web site now ties in to our media kits, hero cards and business cards. We want to show prospective sponsors our integrated marketing theme."
