Anders Krohn ranked as #1 Formula 2000 driver by EFCN

January 1st -- Sandnes, Norway -- Norwegian racing driver Anders Krohn was recently ranked as the number one Formula 2000 driver by leading North American motorsports site (EFCN). The position on the top of the charts comes as a result of Anders winning the F2000 Championship title and Rookie of the Year honors through 9 race wins in 14 races throughout the 2008-season.

EFCN also had a Champions interview with the 21 year-old driver, talking about his first season racing in North America, the F2000 Championship and future prospects. A nice read that will keep fans entertained throughout the off-season.

Earlier today, Anders was present at the Mayor of Sandnes, Norunn Ostråt Koksvik's New Years reception, receiving a prize for winning the U.S. based F2000 Championship in 2008. It is however not his first time receiving a prize from the Mayor, as he has also picked up similar prizes for his efforts on the racing track from 2003 through 2006.

With 2009 just started and with a new racing season about to kick off in a couple of months, Anders would like to send his best wishes to friends, family, sponsors, associates and fans alike:

"2008 was by far my best Racing season to date results wise, but it also represented me moving my focus to a new continent, with different yet new and exciting prospects. I brought my fantastic sponsors with me to a new place, and got to meet some wonderful people throughout the course of the year as well that I will never forget and always stay in touch with. I would like to thank my three main sponsors Trallfa Industries, Colusseum Dental and Kruse Smith for spearheading a new-to-Norway campaign like this, as nothing remotely close to this would have been possible without you!

With that said, I feel ready to move on to the challenges of a new racing season; I hope all of you have had a great Christmas, and are able to look forward to a great new year. There is plenty of action going on as always, and although nothing is certain about the 2009-season yet, plans are being made and I feel confident in moving up and scoring top results right off the bat once again.

I want to wish you all a great 2009, and hope you achieve all of your dreams and goals. Best of luck!"
