Mick Schumacher cleared to race at Spa

Mick Schumacher has been cleared to compete in the upcoming ADAC Formula 4 event at Spa after fracturing his hand in the previous race.

The German, the son of Formula 1 legend Michael, suffered a broken hand after crashing near the end of the race at the Red Bull Ring when he made contact with a rival and hit the pit wall.

But his Van Amersfoort Racing said on Monday that Schumacher will be able to take part in this weekend's round in Belgium after being cleared by doctors.

Schumacher is currently ninth in the standings with 28 points, 46 behind championship leader Joel Eriksson.
