NDS EuroBOSS Series secures Channel 5 deal.
Banbury, England, Tuesday 2nd April 2002: The NDS EuroBOSS Series has today announced a media tie up with national broadcaster Channel 5. With its growing reputation for top flight sports coverage, the decision by Channel 5 is a further boost for the NDS EuroBOSS Series which has recently announced a major sponsorship deal.
Britain's latest national terrestrial television station has shown a strong commitment to sporting coverage with international football, American Football, major league baseball, ice hockey and motorsport. This deal reflects strongly on the credentials of EuroBOSS as an exciting spectacle with real public appeal. The cars reach speeds of up to 190mph and are familiar to the public having competed in Formula One, F3000 and American Indy.
Although the programming is still to be decided, this partnership represents one of the strongest television deals for a domestic single seater race series.
Allen Orchard, Marketing Manager, NDS EuroBOSS Series: "This television deal is a major boost for the Series, our sponsors and competitors. Channel 5 has been impressed by our ambitious plans for the development of the NDS EuroBOSS Series, both on and off the track, and we are confident that the racing will be exciting and highly competitive. The involvement of Channel 5 will take this exciting racing to a much wider audience as the NDS EuroBOSS Series moves into a new era."
"With strong support from the media and public we are sure that the Series can become a proving ground for up and coming drivers as they look to progress to Formula One."
The 2002 NDS EuroBOSS Series commences at Donington Park over the May Bank Holiday weekend, the race taking place on Monday 6th May.
