What to Look For at Topeka:
TOYOTA RACERS HAVE SIGHTS SET ON TITLES - Toyota-powered racers Jeff Kincaid, Steve Federico and Chad Hord will look to add a championship or two to their résumés this weekend at the season-ending event in Topeka. Kincaid, of Argonne, Wis., is the defending Pro-Lite class champion and currently sits atop the standings with a 13-point lead. He will race his Forest County Potawatomi Toyota Tacoma on Saturday looking to clinch the championship with a win.
Federico, Wilmette, Ill., who will challenge Kincaid for the Pro-Lite title in his Ingles/Mountain Dew Tacoma, currently leads all other CORR rookies for the Kumho Tire Rookie of the Year award. Hord, of Felch, Mich, will do battle with Federico for the rookie honors in his Boss Snow Plow Tacoma. Going in to Topeka, both Federico (third) and Hord (fifth) remain in contention for the Pro-Lite championship in their first season racing trucks. Both are former Sportsman Super Buggy champions.
GREAVES LOOKS FOR STRONG FINISH IN PRO-4 - Three-time CORR champion Johnny Greaves, DePere, Wis., is looking to add a couple of wins this weekend with the hope of securing second-place overall in his inaugural Pro-4 season. Greaves, the CORR all-time victory leader, debuted the new Forest County Potawatomi Toyota Tundra 4x4 this season in Pro-4. Currently fifth in a tight race for second, Greaves has two Pro-4 wins this season.
JOHNNY GREAVES, Pro-4 Forest County Potawatomi Toyota Tundra 4x4: "Another truck landed on me at Crandon, which tore up the back end of my truck pretty bad. But, we made some changes when rebuilding that have made my Tundra handle better than ever. I'm excited to race at Topeka; the short track should favor our truck."
JEFF KINCAID, Pro-Lite Forest County Potawatomi Toyota Tacoma: "The weekend is all about clinching the championship. Unfortunately, we had some mechanical problems at the last race at Crandon. But the Topeka track is technical, with a lot of options to pass, which should work in our Tacoma's favor."
