Indianapolis, Ind. (March 31, 2003)-After only one year as the Series Title Sponsor of Championship Off Road Racing, Lucas Oil Products are delighted at the outcome.

"We feel that CORR racing is unique in its venues and style of racing," said Tom Fredrickson, Director of Motorsports with Lucas Oil. "It brings us an opportunity to reach a different segment of the population. It definitely appeals to a different sort of race fan and truck enthusiast. We are proud to align our selves with a series that not only seeks to run in extreme environments and speeds but delivers an enjoyable show as well."

With a love of motorsports, Lucas Oil is aligning itself with many organizations to develop and maintain brand awareness for its products. Lucas Oil was founded in 1989, and in a short period of time, the company now sponsors over 200 race teams nation wide, including competitors in Canada, England, Austrailia and Germany.

Lucas is the Series Title Sponsor for four major race series' including the NHRA Sportsman Series, Championship Off Road Racing, International Hot Boat Association and the American Tractor Pullers Association. Lucas is the Official Oil sponsor for the USAR ProCUP and Xtreme Dirtcar Series.

"The one overriding difference between Lucas Oil and other sponsors is because of this passion (for motorsports) we stay involved with the Title Series we sponsor," said Fredrickson. "We attend as many race events as possible and work closely with our sponsored teams. We run promotions for our customers, which help to bring new fans and supporters to that particular series. This is good for both the racing series and us," he said.

In 2003 Lucas Oil will continue their sponsorship with Pro-4 and Pro-2 driver Carl Renezeder. Lucas Oil will also be an Associate Sponsor with Chad Hord (Pro-Lite) in 2003. As the Series Title Sponsor of Championship Off Road Racing, Lucas Oil is also offering a year-end bonus to the top- three finishes in each Pro division. Lucas Oil will pay for the entire season entry for each division winner in the Pro-4, Pro-2 and Pro-Lite divisions. The second-place finishers will get 50% off, and the third- place finishers will get 25% off their entry fees.

"We know that racing in any form is expensive and requires a lot of dedication of time and talent," noted Fredrickson. "We continue to support drivers and teams with what we have to offer, monetary rewards and high quality oil products!"

Not only has Lucas Oil been able to help entertain fans and support drivers with their support of Championship Off Road Racing, they continue to develop high-quality automotive products to those who need it most.

"It (being a sponsor of CORR) helps us to demonstrate that Lucas Oil Products can withstand even the rigors and extreme conditions of off-road racing, which speaks volumes if you watch it," said Fredrickson.

The 2003 CORR Lucas Oil Series begins May 25 in Dresser, Wisconsin. For more information on Lucas Oil and Championship Off Road Racing, visit www.lucasoil.com or www.corracing.com.
