Scott Taylor, has a 32 point lead with eight of 14 rounds completed in the Lucas Oil CORR series. Currently all CORR competitors are finishing up a scheduled four-week break between rounds 8 and 9.

During this time Scott and his Taylor Racing crew were able to take some time off from racing. " Kellie (wife) and I were able to take the kids out have some fun outside of a racing atmosphere--.even tried to go fishing on Lake Michigan but the weather didn't cooperate," noted Scott Taylor.

The extra time off between Topeka and Bark River has also given Scott's PRO-2 competitors more time to fine tune their trucks as the stretch run for the Lucas Oil CORR Championship begins. "We know our competition is using this time to improve their trucks. Taylor Racing knows the same must be done with the Skyjacker BFGoodrich Tires Ford-150. Our truck's handling has been pretty good considering the off-season cockpit changes, but there's still room for improvement." states Scott Taylor.

In the first eight rounds of racing Scott Taylor has finished first 3 times and second 5 times. Once again Scott Taylor is the driver everyone is chasing in PRO-2.

The next event on the Lucas Oil CORR calendar is August 12-14 for the Boss Snowplow Island Casino UP 100 Championships in Bark River, Michigan.

Watch SPEED Channel this Saturday, August 7, @ 4pm eastern for Round 4 of the Lucas Oil CORR series.
