Scott Taylor, from Belvidere, IL, began his racing career 30 years ago and has been successful at every level of motorsports competition. His trail of victories includes wins throughout the United States and Canada. Scott Taylor is considered as one of the premiere off-road competitors of all time. In fact, Scott Taylor is the winningest driver in CORR history. In his 93 starts, Scott has won 34 times. All of his wins have come in the highly competitive Pro-2 division.
"Every year the competition in Pro-2 gets stronger. The number of drivers and the level in the division continues to increase. The partnership with Skyjacker will keep our program in the lead pack. In 2004 the goal at Taylor racing is to bring Skyjacker its first Lucas Oil CORR Pro-2 championship." -- Scott Taylor.
With the addition of Scott Taylor and his BFGoodrich Tires Ford F-150, Skyjacker Suspension will have a sponsored driver in all three divisions of the Lucas Oil CORR series. Currently Curt LeDuc in his Ford F-150 competes in Pro-4 and Kyle LeDuc in his Ford Ranger competes in Pro-Lite.
The Lucas Oil Championship Off-Road Racing series consists of fourteen rounds of racing at six different venues in four states. The entire series is broadcast on Speed Channel. The 2003 series was watched by 10 million viewers on the motorsports intensive cable network.
During each broadcast, Skyjacker also sponsors the "Shock of the Race" feature. The "Shock of the Race" is a pivotal event that affected the outcome of the race.
With the quest of his sixth consecutive championship about to begin, Scott Taylor knows the competition will be gunning for him and his Skyjacker BFGoodrich Tires Ford-150. The quest begins May 29 at off-road racing's version of "Bristol", the Memorial 4x4 Rally in Dresser, Wisconsin.
