Avon, Ind. (May 10, 2001) - Thomas L. Reider, President and CEO of Precision Gear, Inc., has announced that Precision Gear will increase its sponsorship involvement in the 2001 CORR EXXON Superflo Series. Precision Gear has been a contingency sponsor of CORR for several years and has previously been a sponsor in many different off-road racing series'.
Having been a contingency sponsor for the Pro-2, Pro-4 and Pro-Lite divisions for the past three years, in 2000 they increased their involvement with the first annual Precision Gear Driver of the Year Award for both the Pro and Sportsman divisions. For the 2001 season, Precision Gear will commit more than $20,000 as they continue with all the 2001 programs, plus they will become the title sponsor of the Antigo ALL GEARED UP Wisconsin event.
Precision Gear Inc., the only gear to be officially licensed by NASCAR, has been manufacturing high performance ring and pinion gears since 1975. Precision Gear sets are found in all types of Motorsports including CORR, IHRA, NASCAR, NHRA, NMRA, NSCA, SCCA and many other of the sanctioning bodies. They have become the gear of choice for all the professional classes due to their outstanding durability.
Precision Gear continues to participate with CORR because the series provides them with a direct connection with their largest user group. More importantly, some of the toughest racing conditions found anywhere are found in the CORR series and the true durability of Precision Gear's product is repeatedly demonstrated.
"These off-road conditions and the results of winning drivers like Scott Douglas, Curt LeDuc, Jeff Kincaid, Rob MacCachren, Carl Renezeder and so many others who use the product, constantly prove that we have the highest quality, most durable gear sets available in the aftermarket," said Reider.
This same race proved durability is designed into every gear set manufactured by Precision Gear. This direct involvement benefits not only the racers but also all of PG's customers, no matter what, where or how they drive.
