KC Hilites Championship Award for the 2003 CORR Lucas Oil Series will pay out $2,500 in year end bonuses.

Indianapolis, Ind. (February 21, 2003)-KC Hilites announced that they would increase the monetary amount for the annual KC Hilites Championship Award in the CORR Lucas Oil Series. In 2002, Mark Kleiman (2002 Stock champion) and Michael Seefeldt (2002 Single Buggy champion) tied for first place in the KC Hilites Championship. Each driver received a check for $850.00. Ross Hoek (Stock) finished in second place and took home a $300 check.

"It is always a pleasure to work with KC Hilites," said CORR Contingency Director Jim Conner. "They are an avid supporter of Championship Off Road Racing and its drivers."

For the 2003 CORR Lucas Oil Series, KC Hilites will increase the championship payoff to $1200 for a first place finish, $900 for second, and $400 for third.

For three decades, KC Hilites has been a company who has taken pride in supporting off-road racing through event sponsorships and contingency programs.

"It's our way of giving something back to the many people that have supported our company by buying and using our products for the past 33 years," said Pete Brown with KC Hilites.

Racers can qualify by using two KC Daylighters and covers, and by displaying KC Hilites decals.
