Avon, Ind. (April 30, 2002) -- The 2002 CORR Lucas Oil Pro Series' television schedule on the Speed Channel was announced, giving the off-road racing series a new look on the prominent motor sport television network.

The first airing of the 2002 CORR Lucas Oil Pro Series will take place Saturday, June 22 at 9:00 p.m. Eastern. The time slot for the CORR Lucas Oil Series will be on Friday and Saturday evenings, giving race fans from coast to coast three opportunities to see each round of the 2002 Lucas Oil Series.

"Our television package allows viewers on the east and west coast to see events on Friday or Saturday night in prime time," said CORR President Marty Reid.

Round 1 of the Pro Series from Edmeston, NY will re-air at 11:00 p.m. West Coast time on June 22, and again on Monday, June 24 at 1:00 p.m. Eastern.

Speed Channel is currently in 51 million homes according to AC Nielsen, which includes 100% of Satellite users. The total exposure for the series will increase from 59 to 84 hours of programming.

"Our fans now know for 2002 they can check their television listings on Friday or Saturday night between 8 and 10 p.m. Eastern and know that's where CORR events will be seen," said Reid. "They no longer have to hunt through seven days of television listings."
