`TERRIBLE'S TOWN 250' NEXT RACE FOR TEAM HUMMER®

Reno, NV - April.20, 2005: The second event of Best in the Desert Racing Association's Silver State Series, the `Terrible's Town 250', is next up on the 2004 Team HUMMER racing schedule. A single loop of 242 miles, the race will start at 9:00 am on Saturday, April 30 in Johnnie, Nevada and wind it's way along the eastern rim of Death Valley, to the north, before returning to the finish in Pahrump, some 30 miles south of the start line. Hosted by Terrible's Town Casino, this is one of the most popular events in the series due, in part, to the additional $40,000 in prize money put up by the Herbst family, owners of the casino and a dedicated Southern Nevada off-road racing family. This will be the seventh year of the `Terrible's Town 250' and Team HUMMER has usually finished well on this rugged stretch of the Northern Mojave Desert.

Coming off a convincing win at the `Parker 425', the #4103 Team HUMMER H2 SUV returned to the shop in good shape, requiring only a detailed preparation to get ready for the `TT-250'. Team HUMMER's Josh Hall and co-riders Sam Cothrun and Thad Stump have been on a tear for the last year scooping up the top spot on the podium at the last four Best in the Desert events since their second place finish at last year's `Terrible's Town 250'. The H2 has proven to be a very reliable race truck and Josh plans to extend his winning streak by improving on last year's finish at this event.

Also a second place finisher in last year's race, Chad Hall's #8102 H1 pickup has undergone some upgrades in preparation for this year's `Terrible's Town 250'. A new high volume fuel injection pump has been installed for more power and the front shocks have had new adjustable, external bypass systems installed to help get that extra power to the ground. All the frame rails were replaced as part of a very thorough prep, a new transmission has been installed and the engine had the top end refreshed. Chad is very upbeat about his chances at Terrible's Town and the team has delivered the truck that can do it.

Mile Marker, Inc. will be Title Sponsor on the H2 SUV for this race. Mile Marker has been an associate partner with Team HUMMER since 2004 and is a distributor of specialized vehicle parts primarily for the four-wheel drive recreational, utility and military vehicles market. The Company's electric and hydraulic winches are used by the United States military, owners of sport-utility vehicles (SUVs) and light trucks, and its hubs are used as components in four-wheel drive automobile transmission systems.

While in Pahrump, Team HUMMER will also be putting in an appearance at the Rosemary Clarke Middle School where team drivers will sign autographs for several hundred kids and let them get up-close with the race vehicles. This is the Forth year we have displayed the trucks at Pahrump area schools and they were kind enough to ask us to come back. You never know just where you might find the next Rod Hall or, for that matter, the next Dr. Cort...
